Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Indian classical dance forms Bharatnatyam & Kathak to students across various grade levels
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and age-appropriate dance lessons
- Choreograph performances for school events, functions, and competitions.
- Promote cultural heritage through dance education and storytelling.
- Provide individual and group guidance to students on dance techniques and expression.
- Collaborate with other performing arts faculty and contribute to cross-curricular activities.
- Ensure student discipline and maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and maintain performance records.
- Communicate with parents on student progress
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Classical Dance / Performing Arts or equivalent
- Expertise in at least one Indian classical dance form – Bharatnatyam & Kathak preferred
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- 2 Years minimum experience as an Indian Classical Dance Teacher.
