Embark on a Virtual Underwater Journey, ‘LIFE IN WATER.’
K. R. Mangalam World School, Gurugram organized a revolutionary educational initiative in collaboration with Klip VR, an award-winning technology company, to offer the students an extraordinary opportunity to embark on a virtual underwater journey, ‘LIFE IN WATER.’
The students explored the mysteries of the deep ocean, including the Mariana Trench-the deepest and most enigmatic region of the world’s oceans. Utilizing state-of-the-art virtual reality technology, the children visualized its profound depth of approximately 11 kilometres below sea level, observing the elegant movements of sea turtles and exploring the complex ecosystems of coral reefs.
This initiative aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 14: Life Below Water. It aimed to raise awareness and foster a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems, highlighting the critical need for conservation and sustainable use of ocean resources to protect these fragile habitats for future generations.
The “Life in Water” VR show elevated students’ understanding and fostered a sense of stewardship towards marine ecosystems. This initiative emphasized K.R. Mangalam World School, Gurugram’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology, preparing students to excel in a rapidly evolving world.
